Headlight FADE fix?

Hey,
I got some headlights from the weckers and did the headlight mod. Worked out well. But the outside of the headlight is kinda faded and not as clear as I would like. Is there a fix for this? I ve heard in the past that you could sand it down and clear coat it. Do anyone know this process?
Thanks

Meguiars Plast-X or a headlight restoration kit that runs about $50.

Wetsand the lenses with 1000 to 2000 grit sandpaper and then buff them with the Plast-X.

I've used it many times and works well. Makes a huge difference.

I bought the Permatex one from Crappy Tire. It was $15. I'll get some before and after shots to see the difference.

Thanks

Dremel tool and polish works fine, just dont put too much speed on the tool or the lights will burn up.
Total cost=free
