blackheadlight mod Q's

i cant get them to seperate, im baking at 200 degree for 15 and cant seem to get them to pop apart.
is there something im missing?

put them back in for like 2-3 mins and just keep trying

they will come but if it seems like your hacking at it..heat em up just a little more

i got one half way, but i cant seem to get the top half tp pop off

I put some wet rags in with them. IDK if it helped much but its like the steam gets them apart. Just keep putting them in. They will come apart

thanks roach, the wet rags seem to help. i got them, i got the passengerside on already just waiting for the driverside to dry. my digi cam went to florida for the week so all i got is my cell, ill take pics tomarrow when its daylight and better pics when i get my camera back next saturday.

here are the pics from my cell, you can see on the passenger side were the paint got under the tape on the ring at the bottom of the big one

do you put them back in the over to reseal them back together?? You baked at 250 till they worked apart.......

No you just reseal them with clear silicone.

this is the best way to go. but all i had was brown, so i just have the 4 corners for now to hold till i get the time to stop and get some clear or black silicone. i put black electrical tape around the seals to help keep the water out.
