'99-'00 front bumper on '01+

Has anyone tried this mod? Seems a little backwards from what everyone usually does but was wondering what it looks like. The older bumpers definately have alot more metal in them anyway. Not sure how the brackets line up either.

Cool. I was thinking of using an XL one painted the same color as my truck with the '98-'00 fog light valance. For some reason I think it may look smoother having more bumper and less plastic and it is alot cheaper to buy. At least it would look different than everyone else.
