Some body work questions
So I've been working on the truck all day with it a little out of the garage to see better, I go inside for a second and hear my mom yelling from the garage. She closed the garage door and freakin scrapped my bumper down to the metal, it's about 2.5 inches long by .5 inch. I'm going to do the body work on it and then look into getting it painted.
Now for the fun part, I've never done any sort of body work before, so I'm completly new to this. The door actually dug into the metal a bit so I figured I'm going to need some body filler to get it back ever then primer it. What exactly do I need and what are the steps to apply it?

Here's some good paint info: https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=50614 It would be easier to give advice with a picture of the damage. Basically you can sand the scratch out or fill it. I would use a lightweight filler to fill it, prime and wetsand until smooth.
