bumper Mod question

I got my truck back from getting fixed last night, and there are a few problems.

most are minor cosmetic things that I will just adjust myself. It's not something I can take back to have tweaked though.

So i need to do the bumper mod! well bumper and grille mod.

there is about an inch gap between the hood and grille, and almost 2 inch gap between grille and bumper.

to anyone else its done, to me it looks like ***.

so what exactly do I do to fix this?

I did the bumper mod on mine and what i did is loosen the 2 bumper bolts on one side and raised it the most I could. Tighten them and do the same on the other side. do that back and forth untill its raised enough.. Not sure about your gap between the hood and the grill..

There are bumpstops on the hood that can be adjusted and not sure about the hood latch, the only issue there is then the hood may not align correctly with the fenders. You may just have to live with that.

As far as the bumber there are two 18-19mm nuts on the backside of the bumber that need to be loosened up, push up on the bumper then retighten them. This will take the longest to get it where you want it.

There are two NUTS on each side last time I checked. The studs are actually on the bumper.

so there is room to move the bolts up and down? I just thought it was a hole that the bolts go in and I had to drill a new hole... glad I dont though.

I double space sometimes so its easy for people to read, I find myself rereading the same lines 2 or 3 times and think this doesnt make sense until I realize I didnt move down.... I'm half dumb and half stupid.

Yes there is probably an inch of movement up and down. The bolts are actually attached to the bumper frame and the frame horn on the front of the truck is slotted.

are you talking about adjusting the hood down? or the grille up?

because the hood is level right now and the lights are perfect, there is a gap though between hood and grille and the bottom of the headlights and grille wings
