98 Fog lamps

Besides ebay, are there any recommendations out there for the fog/driving lights or a fog light kit that works with the factory switch in the bezel? I would like to get a nice kit. Where to purchase? I will be using a Ford factory valance that fits my year.

actually I found the '98-00 foglights VERY durable compared to the '01+.. and as long as they're clean on the inside they shouldnt put out yellow light from a white bulb like a Silverstar or such.. mine were white like my headlights were. Good luck man

O i'm sry i didnt see in the original post "Monsterguy plz dont post this is for other ppl only"

lets all see how much Edgeaholic helped everyone out here O he didnt, he just added another pointless post about nothing in the topic but thanx for trying to help the matter out :) (******* X2 NOW ****** post under this one) maybe he is just board?

Grizzlybear34 if u get from ford i checked the $ on them when i got my 2nd ones they wanted a lot of $ for them and they were going to take about 3-4weeks to get in cause of the older style none in stock, got mine from ebay and they were stock ford ones and were a lot cheeper, u cna hook the light up to the stock switch just splice the wires on instead of the original 9145 bulb connector.

u can always do what IKE34 did and get 2 sets of 3" round lights and put them in i think it looks 100x better and they are brighter.
ike34 hope u dont mind using ur pic to show him

I just mounted some 4inch rounds inside the existing light. I thought it was going to work better than it did so I ended up butchering the fog light housing. I did leave the stock lenses in place however in hopes of passing inspection. Not to mention it looks a little odd without them in place. Looks alright with them in place.

Just mod the harness into an aftermarket set of foglights and your good to go.

Im guessin by your rant Monster Guy there plastic housings correct?

:edit:

Id say modify them to HIDs but if there plastic they may melt over time from the heat of the HIDs installed.

ya they are. there a funky shape that a aftermarket universal wont fit, i was going ot put HID's in mine so it will match my headlight HID's but i would want the diamond cut style that they dont make for the 98-00 the stock ones have the defuser ribs in the plastic that makes the light dimmer as dispursing the light evenly and makes the light a yellower color wile doing that.
