Power Running Boards?

so my gf says the truck is hard to get into, i want to lift it. i think the logical next step is to rig some power running boards instead of the step bars it has now. anyone do this on a ranger(o2 extra cab)? i think the mountaineer ones should be close to the right size...

Power running boards are the dumbest things i've ever seen. Personally i'd never put that on my truck, suv's or anything. I work for Ford as a tech n we've replaces plenty of these because the motors in them are just garbage.

tell your gf to get over it, and shes lucky to be a ford ranger owners' girlfriend.
