I've got to pull for the Eagle One Nano-wax.

Same basic concept as Scratch-X, it just uses much smaller wax particles than standard waxes, allowing it to fill swirl marks better. Think "pebbles versus sand".

A pic of the roof of my cab after using Nano wax....

ive gotten better results with meguiar's. and my truck does a bit of offroading. course this could be due to the meguiar's nxt car wash. just that car wash makes my truck as shiny as some peoples waxed. and the water beading is just beautiful.

The focus wan't all that great on my camera when that photo was taken. But I've tried both Eagle One and Meguiars, both are good. I just prefer E1.

speaking of swirl marks, what all can a clay bar do for ya when it comes to removing swirls and little imperfections, etc. once winter is over, i need to really set out an entire day to completely detail my truck's exterior, winter is so mean.

The clay bar kicks incredible amounts of ***. It doesn't help scratches or swirl marks. What it does it "grab" tiny particles of dust, debris etc... off the paint. You use it right before you wax so the wax goes on the cleanest possible paint surface. It is amazing and I HIGHLY recommend it. I use Mothers Gold Clay bar system...

okay I have a black truck as you all know swirlys come easy to black... I DO NOT use the cirlce method when waxing I go side to side and I always go in the same direction everytime I wax my truck... I usually wax it once a month to this day I have not seen any swirl marks and if there are any I have not seen them... I use the Mothers 3 step wax

Where is the best place to pick up the clay bar. When I wax my black truck it seems like there is tiny wax dots all over it. Took it to a paint and body shop to ask about it. He told me it needed to be clayed and waxed. but followed that with "That will be $150"... Hummmmm nope
