i ordered some 2008 stone guards to replace my mudfllaps on my 06 fx4. at the dealer the schematic showed the guards coexsting with fender flares. is this true and will they fit?

 

They won't fit on your FX4. They require different flares. I got some larger Mud flaps for $40 and put them on. They work a lot better being longer and they also have the Ford Oval on the bottom. Can sorta see them on this picture, much better coverage, I hardly get anything kicked up by the tires now.

 

I already have mudflaps, I want to take them off because I dont like the look of them, and they've come close to breaking off while wheeling.

The parts schematic at the parts counter showed them next to fx4 style flares.
