Powder Coat the entire Truck?
i don't know anything about paint, so i've got a question.. im just just curious...
would it be possible to powder coat the entire truck? a powder coat is stronger than regular paint, correct? i was just trying to think of how it might turn out if the entire truck was powder coated. when i was younger, one of my Dyno's (a bike) was powder coated, and it was my favorite..... i was just thinking of how the truck would look.
any idea if it's already been done? i'm curious to see pics if anyone knows of any cars or trucks that have this done already- that is, if it's even possible for cars/trucks.

good luck for one thing powdercoat is pretty expensive depending on what color you get and then you would have to find someone with an oven big enough and then it would be costly to get everything sandblasted so the powder can adhear and then you would have to have the knowledge to remove everything off of the frame so it really is nto cost effective

it is possible yes..but you will have to strip the truck down to nothing! i was going to do my jeep when i was getting around to painting it since the guy that did the powder coating was going to use it as advertisement and all i had to do was pay for the powder... but he moved away too soon and i wasnt ready...

it is possble but would be very expensive. Prally 95% of the quad people I am with powder coat there quad frames, a arms, axles ect. Its alot stronger then paint. It is possible for it still to chip but it takes big rock. It dosen't seem to fade ether. If you get a person who knows what they are doing you can get it to shine just like paint
heres a link to some colors a really good guy does on my quad site. (you prally can not see the pics) http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthre...hreadid=266381
I will post some as well
