DBR tube front bumper

As the title states im looking into getting the Dixon Bros Racing tube bumper... 98-08 Ranger Front Tube Bumper - Long Travel Suspensions - Dixon Bros Racing

Very excited on this!! I was looking to get a tube bumper custom made..until i searched on google for "ford ranger tube bumpers" and the Dixon Bros Racing tube bumper was first result. I had no idea DBR even made tube bumpers for ford rangers, seen a few people on here with these but never put two and two together. The price on this is $550 and you have the option of them powder-coating any color for an extra $150, all this is price unshipped. You need to call them for a quote, but luckily for me i live 2 hours from their location so i would drive down to pick it up.

What do you guys think of this bumper? anyone have pics of it on their trucks?

Yeah i would love to have one custom built, but i would basically be modeling a custom built one to look like the DBR bumper. And i have looked at quite a few tube bumpers on here, custom made, and they all seem to have the same look. I will definitely call up some local fabricators to see what they can do for me, and they would probably want to offer a better price then Dixon.

I would still call and ask you might be surprised on the price. Can't hurt anything!

I liked them at first until I saw one in person next to someone's custom bumper and I think the skid plate is to wide.

if you drop 500+ you are a true fool. your in socal, call around to your local shops and tell them what your looking to do and ill bet at least 2 shops will get you otd for 200 or less. i got quoted 150 for my old ranger, single tube across with light guard and plate.

thanks guys, thinking twice about the DBR bumper... i will call around to local shops and probably get quoted way cheaper. I did notice the skid plate was pretty wide and also i noticed it sticks out way far in front where the lights are located.
