Spray/Roll on liner bed rail image request

I'm about to do my bed with Herculiner.
I cant decide if i want to go over the rail with it or not.

Can you guys who've done herculiner, line-x, or rhino post pics of your over and under spray on, so i can get an idea of what they look like to see if i will even like it on the rail before i go doing it.

I was thinking over, but i don't haul a whole lot.
It just so happens about a week ago i was hauling a tiller, and it fell, and put a pick scratch, dent, cut into the upper rail (and yes it was strapped in)
At that point i kinda wanted to do over, but i've also contemplated getting rail guards instead.
Thats why i'm checking pictures to see how it looks.

I woudl vote getting a spray on, and having it done fully over as well.. let me dig through my pictures and see if I can find an example of it MUCH easier to see on a white truck with black spray on

In fact, I think that the FIRST thing any truck owner should do is get some sort of spray on, or lay down mat, ro something... the bed shows the use of the truck more then anythign else. I actually also plan on getting one of those thick rubber mats to lay down as well... I've already had a good chunk of this get ripped off (about 1 inch by 2 inch chunk) from a damn 900lb boxed item from earlier this winter... If I didn't have a bedliner in when tat happened.. I woudl have been up **** creek trying to re-prime and repaint that spot before it started rusting.. not even a dent in the bed, or a scratch in the paint though

Slightly overhead view... best angle of the current pictures I've got:

And the common uses for a good spray on.. protection from.. CHRISTMAS TREES!!!!! *Insert dramatic evil music here*

Haha, the dreaded xmas tree.

I dont use mine for heavy loads much if at all, thats why i'm not going to go with line-x or rhino, i dont have an extra 400-600 from what each company around here quoted me with.

-nods- I personally think it might be best to go with a spray on...

But if your looking for a good protection, maybe all you'll need is a good thick rubber matting down on the floor, like a 3/4" laydown, those work wonders

did you get the bed sprayed yet? i will have to take some pictures of mine and put it on here for ya. i did the duplicolor bedliner and didn't do it over the rail because i have some small dents on the rails and had a feeling that it would chip off. and i think i was right. i already have some spots where it has been scratched off. on the tailgate and the under the back window. it's only been on for about six months too! if you have the money to get the spray-in, i would recommend that. i just can't bring myself to spend $400 or more for the spray-in. i was happy spending $80 for what i've got though.

My vote is for over, I had mine sprayed just past the stake pocket holes. I think it turned out pretty good.
