Need a few opinions!

Being my truck is a 2001 it came with the 4x4 decal on the tailgate, I didn't like the look of it sitting there so I took it off. What I need the opinion on is what I should put on for letting people know it is 4-wheel drive. I found the 4x4 emblem off of the sport trac on jusnesmodified.com and it is about the same size as the ford emblem on the tailgate so I thought I might put the 4x4 emblem on the opposite side of the ford emblem on the tailgate above the dealership sticker (I am going to be removing the dealership sticker very soon). If I don't go with the 4x4 emblem I would get some decals to put on the rear quarter panels like most rangers have. Let me know what you think would look better.

Rear view of my truck.

4x4 Emblem from the Sport Trac

Let me know what you think I should do, and if you say go with some decals let me know what the decals should look like.

I know the pipes look crooked but they actually aren't, just the way the truck is sitting in the picture.

I am not sure about putting the 4x4 emblem on the side of the bed though because of it being small, unless you meant putting some 4x4 decals on the bedsides.
Which choice to go with is eating at me so if I could get some more input on what other people think would look the best please let me know!

personally i like the stock 4x4 stickers on the XLT 4x4s. Where they are on the end of the bedsides. Same decal as was stock on your rear tailgate just on the sides.

Here is a quick photoshop of what the back end might look with the 4x4 emblem located where I was thinking.

Them emblem is about that size, maybe even smaller. If you don't like the way that looks and would rather see 4x4 decals on the bedsides let me know.

The idea about having the emblem in place of the ford emblem sounds like it might look pretty cool. I love hearing everyone's input/opinions, so please keep'em coming!

Put a banner in your rear windshield that says "This truck has a function transfer case, front driveshaft, and IFA."

I like the "4x4 Offroad" emblems on the bedsides. Take that dealer tag off the tailgate like you did in the photochop. Clean up that wiring for your lil hitch reciever plug taillight jobber thinger too.

do you really feel the need to have to advertise it's a 4x4? most people can tell it is. and for those who can't, who cares? as for putting fx4 or xlt offroad stickers on it, i've never been a fan of someone "pretending" their truck is something that it is not. in 2001 the options for a 4x4 ranger were: xlt, edge and the xlt offroad. that was it. there wasn't any fx4 ranger package yet.

I still vote for the stock 4x4 Off-ROad decals on the bedsides.. i think it makes the side profile look better
