Headlight Mod Complete!

Well sort of. I broke the right side light housing and there is a gap which will let moisture in. Sucks, but I will try again on my stock driver's side light. For now it works though and looks awesome.

JOSH
pretty much. You can't paint the reflector parts because you wouldn't get any light and it's illegal.

looks nice. what did you use for the paint? did you scuff it up or do you trust it to stick to the chrome? looks killer though. i might buy some used headlights and give it a shot myself.

i still gotta paint my bumpers, then paint the grille...... ayy. im lazy.

dang son... I got some competition now... lol

over the next 3 summers I'm gonna make a 01+ Projector Retro fit HID kit, using real projectors, so wait till thats done, then I'll have something unique, but I'm kinda scared to do it because so many things can go wrong making them fit, but We'll see

Keep up the work dude!

Thanks! I used Duplicolor glossy black paint. I just cleaned the lights with a microfiber cloth before painting them. I sprayed about 5 coats ten minutes apart. It turned out real good. It is definitely worth it if you can find some cheap used headlights like I did.
