its the smarter thing to do. i would never give up 4wd... ever.

if you think you can give it up the first thing to do is pull the front driveshaft and leave it out for 2-3 months.

That's how I know I don't need 4x4... The weather isn't bad enough around here and I can take the yota wheelin so i'm not tempted to do anything stupid with the ranger.

Why not just save your money dude? You don't need a pre runner, you don't need to SAS your truck cuz you have your yota... If anything, put a SL shaft on your truck and call it good. Do some on board air, exterior stuff like lights and stuff, some interior work.... I wouldn't waste your time and money though doing what you think you wanna do.

Why not make it how I want it? It will be more functional for what I want to do. I want one truck to haul azz with and go ***** to the walls and I want a 4x4 crawler that can go almost anywhere...

Because right now, your ranger isn't costing you anything man. Why not keep it that way?

Most people have to work for 1 truck let alone have 2 sick *** trucks.

Where around here do you think you're gonna haul *** and go ***** to the walls? You can only go as fast as the posted sign will let you anyways man.

I honestly don't see ANY reason to do what you want to do. But hey, your money, your time...

I have to work for both of my trucks... We go up in the mountains above lebanon and sweethome and go rallying all the time. I also love to take my truck to the dunes. I think I will use it alot more than you think...

You don't have your bikes anymore do you?

IMHO, it's a waste of a perfectly good truck. But like I said, your truck, your time, your money...

For your original question, I have the Glassworks Unlimited Fenders on my 84 and they have held up great. No cracking or breakage. Nice thick glass and they were fairly easy to install myself.....

NO offense but this is stupid. And I am not sure how you do not see this.

You already have the truck lifted and all that good stuff. Buy a beater and put your lift spindles on that.

You do know that lift spindles will not give you the ability to jump your truck and all that stuff right. It is purely for looks.

Why? there are lots or 4wd prerunners now so im sure you could find a way to do it and it would make your truck that much more capable.

Personally I think this is a bad move. Since your not going true long travel. Just get a dbr kit and call it a day.

yea agreed get the DBR kit and be done or maybe if you are capable make your own 4x4 mid travel kit
i saw the arms you and your friend made they didnt look to bad then make your own mounts for coils and ditch the t bars
imho this would be the smart thing to do and probably cheaper than DBR kit and youll get similar performance
but whatever its your truck i think its sick as is

Screw you. My mommies money? What the f**k are you talking about?? She doesn't give or buy me jack s**t. I love how you make assumptions. Those kind of comments **** me off. You're a gomer. Hell, most of your threads I lmao at. I'm just mature enough not to be a f**king a$$hole and make stupid comments to other people. If you were like this in person to me, you'd get knocked the hell out. I just don't understand why you have to be a p**ck all the time. Grow up.
