96 Ranger Fog Light questions...Yes, I've searched...lol

So I have done some searching on here and on google and I can't seem to find what I am looking for, or maybe I did and it's just expensive. I just put the round fog valance on my 96 ranger and I want to put fogs that actually fit in the holes. Stock fogs are atleast $40-$50 a piece, foreal? Do the 87-93 Mustang fogs fit as well? Can anyone direct me where to get fogs that fit in these valances for less than $100 a set?? Pics below....THANKS!

you will use the mustang GT fogs from summit with the single post mounting. the brackets are obsolete and have been for quite some time...i have a set of them that are black powdercoated i will sell for $220...the last time they were available for sale from ford was in 1997 for $170 each

Yeah I found the brackets I think you are talkin about...either way, these lights come with some sort of bracket. Thanks again but I'll just deal with the bracket that they give me and figure out a way. Appreciate it...anything else you got layin around? I see you aren't too far from me...

I think the Mustang & Ranger lights are actually the same part number.

Several years ago, one of my fog light lenses fell off while I was goin' down the road at 55 & it was a goner. I couldn't justify spending the $70+ each for new Ford lights, so I grabbed a set from WallyWorld for about $10 each...I think they still sell the same lights today although they're probably $15+ each now.

I had to cut off a little of the valance (back side) to fit in the new lights, but they look like stock.

The bolts are smaller on the aftermarket lights, so I had to add a couple of washers & grind out the mounting bracket a little.

If you don't have any brackets already installed, just bend up some 1/8" thick metal to hold whatever lights you use (OEM or aftermarket).

the Ranger factory fog lamps you want for that year were made by Hella. the way i see it, if you want your Truck to look stock, don't cheap out on some lights that weren't stock on the truck
