Fog Light Question
Ok first off I am new to this site. I have a '99 Ford Ranger XLT. Love the truck and after coming on this site I have just seen everything that people do to thier trucks. My question is can I put fog lights on my truck? Preferably I want rectangle lights under the bumper. I believe everything is stock on my truck.
Thank you

You can put on factory fog lites if you wish. This will require getting a new lower valence which can be picked up from a junkyard or craigslist...also require two foglites, possibly the foglite brackets, and depending on where you want to mount your switch.......for stock switch: you'll need a radio bezel that has a foglite switch, and the pigtail for the switch. For aftermarket switch: youll need the switch. Both routes for the switch require a wire harness. some trucks havethe harness there, but no lites. Stock lites for your style truck are oval in shape.
Now if you wanted rectangle, you can either cut holes or just drill holes for the brackets and go from there.

If wired properly, yes. The foglight switch should be switching a relay on/off, which in turn switches the lights. The relays are typically rated for 30 or 40 amps, and there's nothing saying you can't trigger more than one relay with the switch, either. :)
