I'm going to buy a new grill to replace my old busted up grill on my B4000. My truck came with the sort of grey silver grill which I don't like at all. So im buying a black grill to match my truck. Now to the question do you guys think I should leave it flat black or paint it gloss to match the truck. I also plan on doing the Home Depot gutter guard grill mod. I thought that painting the mesh insert gloss black and leaving the grill flat black might be an interesting contrast? Or do you think it would look better all gloss black? Oh im also going to be throwing in a set of clear corners and clear signal lens so keep that in mind while you roll the options around in your brain. Thanks

 

I'd go with flat black, or a nice matte. Mine is slightly glossy and looks good, but I'd rather a flat or matte. As to the gutter guard, I have no real opinions on the issue. I'd keep it the same as the grille though.

 

i think the gloss would look good if you can get it to match the rest of the truck

 

paint it all gloss black, or the grill black and the mesh a different color?

 

Or you could do a ranger front end conversion.
