How to bend your door hindges back into place

While I was backing up at the gas station with the door open the door hit the pool and slammed forward into the fender and bent my hindges. So how do you bend them back to the right spot?

you must reverse the action... so get real pissed off and just kick that door shut really hard....

and remember, "its better to be pissed of than pissed on!!!"

haha i did the same thing with my passenger door at my girlfriends house against a hydro meter... if you bent it as far as i did to damage the door and fender you prob bent you pillar also so even if you do manage to bend the brackets back its still gonna close like crap. i just bought a new door with hinges and pounded the pillar back into shape. it worked an you wouldn't hardly be able to tell

good luck with the fix. maybe you can get ne hinges from a wrecker to help make life easier..

The Damage didn't mess up the pillar but it bent the hinges and put a big *** dent in my door thats all the damage it did. but the door moves out about 90 degrees when i open it instead like 75 degrees.

Thats why I was always taught to never back up with a door open. The first thing I thought of was Tommy Boy. Do you have any pics?
