i would like to buy some clear corners for my 04 but......

i have seen some pics of clear/corners that fit as good as stock corners, and some pics that they looked like they didn't fit well at all, jutting out and higher than stock.

anyways, i would like a good source (even if it is ebay, please recommend a seller). everyone seems to be selling them for around $40 after shipping, whether it is $20 for the corners and $20 for shipping, or $30 and $10.

Well, there are two types of clear corners. One with a black boarder (which look best, and everyone pretty much agrees) and ones with a white border (stand out to much and dont flow well). All of the 01-04 corners fit the same pretty much and are just like stock. Many sellers on E-bay have pictures of the black boarder corners but actually send the white ones so you must watch out. The only seller that I have been told that sells the black boarder ones for sure is Jaxracing, on E-bay. His feedback isnt 100% but I guess its worth a shot. I just ordered a set from him today so we will see how it goes. I hope that this reply wasnt to confusing for ya bud, take care.

 

i bought a set from Jaz_racing on ebay on Jan 13th and i still havent received them so i dont really recommmend him at this point.

 

Are you guys talking about the same person on E-bay, just maybe a typo or something? I only see a jax_racing. Anyways, just curious cause I was looking at the black border clear lenses too.

 

i bought some from speedinfiniti. he has overall good feedback, not too many negs in too short a period. everything's gone ok so far, i'll let you know if i get them and what condition they are in. he said he only sells the ones pictured on the page. i went through paypal and added a insurance for if he sent me crap or didn't send anything, it was like 2.60 extra.

 

speedinfiniti sells white border ones.. A member of here XtreemSpeed (i think..) bought some, and it wasn't.. or he e-mailed the guy or something. Anyways, you should've e-mailed him first.. Not sure if he changed it.. but yea.. he showed a black one, but it was actually the white ones... and defended himself saying that it was the reflection from the light

 

make sure you do get the black housing lights, the chome ones dont look good at all IMO

the ones that xtreemspeed wondered about were from a different vendor, and they actually do have the black ones, but it might be jax_racing ?

 

i ordered the white ones a couple months after getting my truck last year, and didnt know about the difference in housing colors.. when i got them, all i did was mask off the lense itself, and used a flat black spray paint, and sprayed the white edges.. they turned out fine.. they've been on the truck for about 9 months, and nothing has faded or chipped, etc.
