Replacing the mirror within the side view mirror

Greetings All,

1997 Ford Ranger

Do I have to replace the entire side view and/or get into the door to replace the mirror inside the side view mirror?

Thanks
Bryce

The mirror glass itself pops off of the adjuster base but it can be stubborn. Read page 4 for more info:

(This info is for power mirrors. Manual mirrors may be different.)
