well not really mods, just additions.
that wasnt the one i ment to pick up, i had 2 different ones in my hand and i put the wrong one back. o well that one is fancier than the one i was gonna get. and the blue matches.
and this was the "big one" got it from a friend for $75, pretty much brand new.
already got some stuff in there.

Very nice. Anything you add that wasn't there to begin with is a "mod", lol.
I ended up getting a metal box because the Delta plastic box I had needed support to keep from sagging. However, that particular box you have is I think a better design with a different plastic and I don't know as I've seen one of those sag.
Of course, I had a hi-lift jack and about 80 pounds of tools in mine, lol. No wonder it sagged...

yea, i found a metal box on ebay for $50 but i would have had to spent like $15 in gas to go pick it up, and then to refinish it (it was white and i would have just taken the paint off and then bedlined it) so i wouldnt have saved much money over all. i still want a black metal one, but this was cheaper and i knew the people selling it. as of right now all i have in there are the tie downs, my ball hitch, a can of fix-a-flat, and a small tool kit.
thanks for the props, and i know modding is addictive, i have modded every car i have ever had on the road. but i dont have the money for much right now.
i also got a bell bike rack (wifey picked it up at a yardsale for $10) and i figured out i could mount it on the tail gate for when we go camping and the bed is full of camping gear.
is it possable to mount a nother set of tiedowns in front of the box? kinda like where the little indent is on the pass side in the 1st pic of the tool box. or maybe to the box it self. i was thinking that i just covered my 2 rear ones for the most part, and that i dont know how well they would work now that the box is on there.
