Im really gettin frustrated...toolbox.

Well I am lookin for something so basic and I dont know why I cant find what Im lookin for. All I want is a low profile..brite tread..regular bed sized toolbox. No crazy notches or angles or anything. Just a deep..low profile dern toolbox lol..I dont get why I cant find one. Does anyone have one or know where I can get one? This mess of 400+ dollars seems kind of crazy too but I dont know enough about them to know if thats expensive or what.
I just want some space to mount air tanks..tools..and dirt bike gear...thanks for the help!!

Mine was a Delta Low-Pro and it cost just over $200. I'll see if I can dig up a few pics.

I had the same problem! Rangers DONT NEED the notches that all these compact toolboxes have. Trevor has a low-profile one that has a triangle notch. My deltas have a double notch. Toyota's need the notch, and ranger's dont. Low-pros have it, where the regular tall ones dont. I'd say deal with it, or mod a tall one....problem there is that your stuck with like a 6" deep box!

Or....get a chest.

what's pictured might be a full size box though. I've never actually found a low pro w/o any notch of some type.

Wheelwells on other trucks, not rangers, need that notch in order for the box to work for that particular truck. taller wheelwells, longer wheelwells, and the like. Toyota's i know need that notch, nissans as well. Rangers, no, we don't need it.

DeeZee had one, I actually ordered it up, payed the money.. it was a Black powder coated, ultra deep, low profile 63" chest without the cut outs.. but, the damn thing ended up getting cancelled, my money was returned, and they called me up telling me that DeeZee no longer makes those brand style's anymore.

That sorta pissed me off.. I actually dumped a good 450-500 into it (free shipping) and bit the bullet.. only to find they dont make them anymore :-(
