taillight question...

Are the taillights different on the Flaresides? I want to get a set of Altezza tails but can't seem to find a set that says they'll fit Flaresides/stepsides...were they different?

**EDIT Should I get Altezza tails or leave it be? I'm kinda on the fence about it. I like em but I don't wanna Rice it out.

i really think you should night shade the tails you have now. one coat of nightshade and a couple coats of clear is about perfect. oh and its alot cheaper then taillights. i dont like most aftermarket tails tho.

and for the most part all tails will fit either but there are a few that require some modification or they arent as good of a fit.

Is it difficult to do the niteshade thing? Yours look almost smoked...looks nice.

BTW I like the silver on the hood and the tailgate

Thats what niteshade does, it smokes tails, 3rd brake lights, whatever you spray it on.

i didnt nightshade mine, when Nick painted my truck he night shaded them as well. i dont think it is really a very complicated process. just one light coat, wet sand a bit then clear a couple coats

thanks

They are all the same its just the aftermarket fitment that might not make it work I know when I had apc's the screw holes didnt align exactly up and had to put the screw in at an angle. Keep the 01"s I like them I put them on my 98 I plan on nightshading mine soon.
