I'll take a vid today and post it tonight using my internet. They're so incredibly loud it's insane. Even with the valve I'm using, it's all still 1/2in air line. The valve is really cool actually, because it slowly lets the air in the horns making that authentic train horn sound!

Under the truck... Just took out my old horns and put these in it's place. Used 5/8in fine thread bolts to keep it in place. It's solid...

These things are so badass, I've scared so many people with them today lol. Got the new 200psi gauge in also as well as the 200psi adjustable pressure switch. Trent you're getting my 145 psi switch here when I send the box this week!

So I met up with a guy that's an actual conductor for locomotives, he said doesn't matter if you run 2in ID line to the horns, it only lets air in through a tiny pin hole, and you can bore the hole out, but you will damage the diaphram if you do that. I really like my pull valve with them... In the vid you can hear them slowly let the air in and makes it sound like a real train! He also said they blow their horns at 140psi, use 1/4in air line. Only difference between me and them is the amount of air they have.. Which he said the tank is about as big as my truck if not bigger lol.

So funny... So I blew them by my friends house, she lives next to the train tracks... Anyways, there was a car behind me, I crossed the tracks but blew my horns before I got to them... The chick behind me came to a complete stop and didn't start going until I got to the street light up ahead... I was literally cracking up in my seat!

 

keith i think all of cable would be pissed off at you if you had those horns...

 

just be careful around actual tracks -- its a federal felony to mess with them, not being a dick but a cop could be one if he wanted too..

 

Are you not worried bout dirt and crap gettin in the horn and rusting/clogging, messin up the internals?? always wondered this!! sounds awesome though!
