Here are some suggestions....
ONLY buy from a US seller that has a US Warehouse. That way you don't need to ship stuff to china/thailand/japan or whatever if something should go wrong.
Here's where i bought my kits from:

Rjinator, All you need is the $75 kit from eBay on your truck. You already have the reflector housings so they'll look good! I have the 3000k HIDs in my foglights (the $75 ones) and I can't complain! They do what they're told!
Vansnxtweek, If you're gonna put them on your 2000 though dude you should seriously look at getting a reflector housing to just replace your head light... Leave the corners... But the headlights get the diamond cut reflector housings... I had those on my 2000 (my 4300k HIDs) and they were bright, but the glare was horrible... I even got pulled over for them on my 2wd only being lifted 6in with 33's...
I love my HIDs though... I'll never drive again with out them! I'll always make sure I have the reflector housing.
Here's the ebay link to reflector housings for your truck http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...spagenameZWDVW
Although the pics aren't coming in so I can't tell if they're the straight through housings or the ones with the reflectors... But you definitely want the diamond cut ones.

I have 6000k currently, but also have 4300k bulbs. You really wanna stick with under 8000k. I love my 6000k, just the right amount of white vs. blueish. Plus, I was following a buddy of mine and he said he thought a Benz or Bimmer was behind him, then i passed him and was surprised that it was me and my ford ranger. lol....Here's a pic of my truck next to Trevor's....
Left: 6000k headlamps(Me)
Right: 4300K headlamps, 3000k foglamps(Trevor)

9007 for the headlight and if you do the fog light mod you can run 9004s in your fogs like I have... I didn't do the mod, it was already done on my truck when I bought it, I just bought the 9004 HIDs and ran them... 6000k is a good choice... Anything more than that and you're only buying them for the color, which defeats the purpose of HID lighting! Glad I can help Matt!

www.vvme.com is a good store. That's where I and everyone else on my Subaru forum gets them. They have the bixenon ones that have hi/low telescoping ones for a good price.

Here in Oregon, we don't have that yearly inspection that ya'll in other states have. But I've seen people get the hi/lo kits so that they pass inspection in thier state that requires hi/lo function headlights.
My Hi/Lo kit, as well as a couple other members here, it's a true HID hi/lo kit. No halogen bulb there or nothing. A solenoid kicks the hid bulb up and down, thus full HID and making hi/lo.
