LED Washer Nozzles

Finished: Painting Grille and bumper

I attempted to install LED washer nozzles in my 99 Ranger last week and was able to get one in but not the other. I could easily get the drivers side nozzle in but not the passenger side because it's being blocked by the computer, and seems nearly impossible to get to. Has anyone done this know how to get around it?

I put them on a 90 Honda accord, it was pretty simply, does the pouter get in the way when u shut the hood? is that where you are having trouble?

The nozzles arent located on the hood, they're right below the glass next to the windsheild wipers.

I know on the Edge's it would be completely pointless to put them on cause the hood would be in the way. I am not sure how the 99 hood is shaped off hand, will you even be able to see the nozzles?

Yeah, the 99 hood is flat. The passenger side nozzle is hard because the computer is directly underneath it.

hmm...I believe that the '94-'97 compy is in the same place, and I had them on my '94 Ranger. If I remember correctly, the passenger side was a PITA as well. I had to do some trimming, and some other modification for it to work. I can't remember what, but don't give up.

Yeah when I picked up my neon I almost bought a set...then I remembered that it would be useless on mine because of the powerdome hood.

Don't give up and remember to post pics.

Update: I found these lying around again and they're begging to go on the truck. If anyone knows how to get around the computer with the passengerside nozzle, lemme know.

is there no access to the bottom of the nozzle? If there is just alittle space, maybe you can take out the computer, install the new nozzle with a really thin nut, trim the excess thread and put the computer back in...?

Taken the computer out too, it's enclosed where the computer is held. The only thing i could think of is to take out the top piece where all of the little holes are right around the windsheild wipers, but i havent a clue on how to do that.

EDIT: I've seen them on other Ranger's on CarDomain, and i wish i still had the links, i would ask them.
