i have a 99 ranger, and was thinking about going with 2000 or 2001+ taillights but not for sure if they will even fit. what is your favorite year for tallights

 

my favorite is the current style, and if i had an older one like yours i would convert it. the biggest obstacle you will have to overcome will be the 3 to 2 bulb swap.

 

01 and up are the best

 

definately the 01+ are the best looking... but i would like to see the new 06 ones in person.

01+ for sure... the taillights on the 06 ranger are gonna be different i think.

 

I like the 98-99 Red/Clear/Amber lights my self, they just look the best, followed by 97 and older style. I HATE the 00' lights with a passion, good thing they only lasted year. And I dont care for the blinker/break combo the new ones have. So yea, I'll stick with my 99's.

 

01+ and the old ones...87 around...i only know that one since my dad had one...

 

I'll be switching to the 01+ style (2 bulb) this Sat. at the amazing Qter's BBQ and mod day. WOOT!

 

01-05 is my fav... the 06's look like they might be cool but i have not gotten a really good look at one yet

Obviously I like the 98-99 style best, since I put them on my truck.

I have the stock taillights off my 03 for sale if anybody wants them. They're in perfect condition.
