Hey guys i need some help im doing the 01/03 front end swap on my 99. I have no experiance in body work. So any help is greatly appreciated. I was gonna attempt to do this tomorrow But i wanted to read up on it first.

 

swap header panels, lights corners and hood and your done lol
some have gotten away wiht using the same hood but i dunno haha

 

He can keep the hood thats on it lol

 

So i noticed there arnt any bolts to bolt the headlights in do i need to go match some up at a nut and bolt store or is there something thats supposed to come with the headlights. Cause if so then i got screwed.

 

for the headlights theres 3 bolts that slide through the headerpanel and you have to push 2 "slides" down to hold them in place.

hey im doing the same thing i already got all my parts your gonna need a new header panel front panel hood is optional im not doing it yet but you will also need new headlights and corner lights headlight retainers 4 of them and about 15 jnuts or unuts but thats it for the front end
the bumper is the easy part all you need is the bumper and the valence pm me if you need help finding the parts

 

I already have everything to do the swap i just need help installing the headlights and corners. I have grill header pannel and lights and corners. I just need to know how to install the lights and corner. My lights didnt come with those tabs on the top of the light where you bolt it down to the header pannel

 

go to a junk yard and pocket 4 of em, they are a dime a dozen

 

Im talking about the bolts not the tabs in the back of the lights i have those im talking about the bolts on top of the header pannel sorry if this is confusing.

 

ya you need to order headlight retainers for them
you can get them from http://www.newfordparts.com/catalog.htm you need 2 inner and 2 outer

 

only problem now is securing the corner lights and the buttom part of the headlights i gotta see if that site has the parts for it
