New Bed Toolbox

Just picked up this cheap Kobalt toolbox last Thursday. Was only about $150 but was good enough for my needs. It only came in silver, however, so today EricRanger and I drilled out the hardware rivets and bedlined it black. Just letting the bedliner cure now!

I have that exact same toolbox! Got it at lowes for about $200 and she's been great through, snow, ice, rain, firewood, assorted pipes and all the other S**t me and mother nature have thrown at it. Great Buy IMO!

Looks Great in Black too! Great job on the bedliner.

I am interested in doing the same for mine. Did you do any prep work to the tool box before you used the bedliner.

I used an emory cloth on the box and then cleaned it really well with brake cleaner. Then I just sprayed a lot of light coats.

I used the autozone spray on bedliner stuff. Works really well in every application I have used it. I used pretty much 3 whole cans.
