I'm interested. I hate how big and chrome the 06+ emblems are.

thats a pretty safe way to do it. The hair dryer shouldnt get hot enough to do damage to anything unless you leave it one spot for a LONG time. I heat up the ford emblems to get them apart and it works great with a hairdryer.

are you talking about the fender badge? Or are you talking about the Ford emblem in the front? If you are talking about the fender badge that says ranger use a hairdryer and heat it up. if you are talking about the ford emblem in the front I have no idea

Yeah just get a hairdryer and heat it up a little bit and then take a piece of fishing line and run it back and forth behind the emblem, the adhesive they use will soften with heat and then the fishing line acts like a cheese cutter and cuts in between the adhesive and the fender. You wont hurt the truck and if you are careful you wont hurt the emblem. I wouldn't use a heat gun because they get really hot. be patient with it and you will be fine.

Hairdryer (or heat gun) and fishing line. That's the easiest way. That's how I did it

The Ford emblem on the grill was a pain to take off. Must be some epoxy between that and the grill, I haven't taken the Ranger emblems off yet. I would like to black them out...I'll have to see how this thread turns out.
