Ok so check this out.

I've been doing some extensive research on the heated/puddle light mirrors that were optional on the 95-99 Explorers and 97-99 Mountaineers.

And it seems like it would be a direct fit, BUT I've been trying to figure out if they would just be a simple plug and play (with some modification done to the male plug on the mirrors of course).

The fact is I really like the heated mirrors with the puddle light feature but I'm stumped because I've never seen this modification done, and to me it would look unique in its own way.

Can anyone tell me what other parts I would need for this? Trust me I've done some extensive searches at Rangerpowersports.com but to no avail.

I did how ever do some research on the Message Center and someone told me not to even bother with it.

I think it was John who found out the explorer mirrors are a larger housing then ours and won't mount up.

I also researched the message center and looked at all of the wiring and i say don't bother, i also believe that bob said that in the explorer that it is tied into the vehicles computer
