Color matched emblem question

I color matched my front and back emblem. The front one was the gel type and I followed all the steps in the how to. I could not find the everlasting elegance they rcommended so i got the equivilant from micheals. it says on the package the it cures in 8-10 hours. It has been almost 24 and it is still tacky. Is this normal? I want it to harden before i put it back on so it doest get a bunch of crap stuck to it. Please help!!!

yeah it said to mix it for 3-5 mins so thats what i did and it is getting harder just not as fast as I would like. it did say that if you dont get even amount of the stuff in there it will take longer to cure so that could be the problem but i thought I had the same amount of stuff
