Will 06'-up front bumper work on 99'?

Like the title states, will an 06' front bumper work on my 99' Ranger. Looking to upgrade but it looks like the area around the headlights on the 06' bumper may leave a huge gap on my 99'. Just curious if anyone has put one on? I hate to spend the money and it not fit like I want. Thanks again. Forgot to mention my truck is a 4x4 too.

I did the 06+ front end conversion on my truck, It shouldnt have too many gaps BUT I have to warn you, you may think it's just a matter of swapping bumpers but it isn't that easy or that cheap. On your bumper, I believe the mounting points are attached to the bumper itself. For the 06+ bumper, you have to buy the bumper bracket, bumper isolators, upper half and lower half of the bumper PLUS big *** rivets to attach all the pieces to the bumper bracket. I went into my truck thinking it was a simple swap but as I did research, it required alot of parts just for the entire bumper assembly. I spent over 500.00 with paint and 06+ fog lights for just the front bumper

I was expecting a cost around that. I also knew that about the mounting but was concerned about fit mostly. Thanks for the info

No problem, I think if you're foing that far, swap in a new header panel and convert it to 01-03 front end. Most of the parts are common and for just a bit more you get a whole new front end

I can't do that, I'm fixing a wreck and already bought new headlights, turn signals, header panel, the whole nine yards just not a bumper. I was considering an 06'-up bumper or an Edge style bumper that's fully painted.
