Fiberglass installation?

I did some research and finally ordered fiberwerx 3" fenders and bedsides for my 04 ranger. The bedsides are scheduled to be made this week and hopefully arrive by the end of next week. I haven't found many people who have installed the bedsides themselves, but am hoping someone may have some tips before I get started. My upper spot welds are covered by a spray-in liner, so I am planning on cutting off the top of the bedsides along the rail, and drilling the spot welds on the front and back. I have found some info online for other models, but not much for rangers, so any tips would be appreciated.

air craft remover will eat that bed liner away. id try to grind or chemically remove the bedliner instead of cutting

you could also just trim the bedside about where the body line is on top, the set the fender on top of that

Some instructions say drill out all the spot welds and take everything off.
Others recommend leaving the top rail welded on for strength, and cutting the
bed right below it. Thats what I am planning on for now. Fiberwerx
basically said either was acceptable, not too much help. I started stripping down the front today. While I am up there
I am putting on a fiberglass hood, new bumper, grill and headlights. Planning on pulling the bed off this weekend and starting it.
