So I'm going to be re-painting my 94 ford ranger which is a dark metallic blue. I plan on keeping the blue cause I don't want to do a color change, but thought I'd do a two tone on the rocker panel with DSG then lay down an orange 3M single stripe in between the two colors. I have fender flares that I painted DSG so that's why I was thinking DSG for rocker panel, but open to suggestions.

 

It would look like a '03ish Fx4 F150. That's the combo I've been thinking about doing with my truck.....DWB body w/ DSG rockers and red/orange stripe seperating the two colors.

Really like the blue/DSG combo of weezl's truck and thought the orange would really give it a personal touch. Shane's got good taste. Really like both of your guys trucks.

 

thanks man, i would have to see a pic of someone who has done it, or a pic of some sort... but i like the idea you are planning! i say go for it, worse case scenario, pull the pin stripe off if you don't like it!

the blue/dsg looks sick! same with red/dsg, grabber orange/dsg, black/dsg, silver/dsg... only colour i can think that i don't like /dsg is white... (no offence to those who have it)

 

Don't know how soon shane was going to paint his but planning on having mine done 2nd or 3rd week in June and then I'll post some pics.
