I got a Fibreglass lid tonight for free, its white and my truck is Shadow Grey, was wondering what kind of paint i should use/how do u paint fibreglass? like do you sand it lightly before you shoot it, haha some help if possible please and thank you :)

 

lid? do you mean hood?

 

I'm thinking toneau cover? I would imagine just sand and paint

 

^^ ahhh didnt think of that. yes sand it with a skuff pad so that there is no shinny sports and go from there

 

Be careful though. Fibreglass usually has a gel coat on it and you don't want to sand through it or you will get the fibres come out
