im looking for something i cannot find, i saw it a few years back in a magazine ad. it was a ladder rack that the rear part of could fold forward against the front section and would look like a light bar (roll bar, but for light mounting purposes, not occupant safty) any one seen one, remember one? the closest thing ive found was a setup that folded into side rails, and that has been discontinued. i have no idea who may have manufactured it. ideas?,thoughts?

 

never heard of anything like that. Do you have a shop?? You could make one??

 

i wish i had access to tools/materials to build one. i kinda want a roll bar, could occasionally use a ladder rack, this product would work well for me. a ladder rack when i need it and a roll bar look when its not needed. must not have been a big seller or id have found it by now.

nope, it was tubular in constuction, the front bar was fixed and the rear bar would piviot at about the wheelwells forward it would be against the front hoop, backward it would be above the tailgate, it would have had a bend in it. its weird i cant find it, even if its no longer made im sure somewhere at sometime there would have been a pic of it.
