body lift question

Now if I were to get a body lift and 32's, would that be stressful on u-joints and tie-rod ends and my steering? I was told that it screws everything up. I dont wanna spend the money to cause more problems, know what I mean? So I ask you, what are some problems Ill run into if/when i get a 3 inch body lift and stuff 32 inch tires? Thanx

it will have no effect on your suspension due to the fact that you are simply lifting the body 3 inches higher off the frame... your steering will be effected if you crank your torsion bars however but thats not needed if you only do a b/l.... oh and you can fit 33's with no prob on a b/l

Thats cool, I have heard so much sh%& from alot of people saying that Ill have steering problems and my tie-rod ends will be shot due to moving the bigger tires and what-not. oh, and only thing with 33's is that ill have to change wheel size....i got 16's and im still under warranty for another 35,000 miles! DAMN IT! I may or I may not switch to 15's. Oh, another question, would I have to extend my brake lines??? Just double checkin fellas, Thanx!

^^Go with 305/70/16's...roughly 33x12.5 (actually almost 13" wide IIRC)

You do not have to extend you brake lines just diconnect them from their brackets and bend them as you lift your cab so they dont kink or get caught on something.

Wow, thats not so bad, and it looks good too. i like the look of the BL cuz it is just high enough to look bigger and it looks better than stock hight. then the bigger tires are a bonus! thanx for the ideas!
