How do u get water marks off of the paint

The title says it all. I took my truck in for some damage to the side and when it came back its as though someone washed it and didnt dry the paint. So now I have a few water spots on the hood.Does anybody know what works to get them off?

Wash and clay bar. If that doesn't remove them try using vinegar

"paint cleaner", or "cleaner wax" would also work. if its etched into the paint then you'll need a scratch or swirl remover product.

Also don't just use a regular bath towel. I recommend a waffle weave towel, I like the Meguiars one I have.

I wouldn't use spray wax either though...

Also would the same , clay bar, cleaner wax, work on spray can paint overspray or does it require a different procedure. I went to wash the truck today and found the overspray. I am losing my touch. One problem after another with paint, with overspray, and water spots, Dang Dang Dang

What I use to get water spots off is a "detailing spray". I think all the major car care companies make one and they all work the same. Its more or less the same spray you're suppose to use as a lubricant when clay barring.
