Thunderbolt Hood Scoop Mock up

Hey guys I caved in and bought a SLP(Roush) Thunderbolt Hood scoop to change the look of my boring hood. I still need to throw another coat of YZ white on it and a clear coat or two. Then comes the fun part, drilling into the hood and mounting the scoop. Let me know what yall think of it.

It WILL sit lower than shown in pic

Good Choice. When I pulled mine off (came used with it on) it really cleaned up the look.

looks good, those arnt my fav looking personally but it will make it look alot better.

word of advice lay out tons of blue tape on your hood and MEASURE MEASURE MEASURE just make sure..

ALSO dont forget to center punch where you want to drill... have seen people skid the bit across the hood and that ya not so cool on the paint..

yepper.. take a little more time then thunderbolts because you have to cut down the grill to fit the hood but i like how the "intake" part of the scoop looks over the thunderbolt...

plus you can put it on a powerdome hood, and still look good. The tbolt scoop is not good in the fit-n-finish dept, when it comes to installing on a powerdome hood. tbolt is made for a 98-03 2wd NON-edge truck. It's all about the grille.
