best offroad light??

i plan on getting hids, and since they are great up close, i do alot of back country driving and like long distance lighting, so which lights would be wise to buy for long distance lights, i plan on mounting these in the grill

What about a 55W Hid Off road light? I think those would output rather nicely.

The ones that turn on and make the trail brighter are the best. IMO

lots of guys have KCs and love them.

there has been alot of interest in lightforce lights lately in my area, they're becoming really popular, but they're a little pricier.

in a perfect world, we would all have HIDs, but sooner or later cost becomes a factor for all of us. how much are you willing to spend?

I have seen the KC HIDs in use and they are AMAZING and BRIGHT. I just can't see the money for them since my truck doesn't have HID headlights.

I have a pair of Hella Rally 4000 euro beams and a pair of Hella 500s. I love em, the 4000s are very bright, but also pretty expensive. I need them though, my stock lights suck lol.

KC Daylighter 130w's are the best you can get.. if you can find them of course; as per what many people said up above.. UNLESS you can somehow afford the jump to the insane HID offroad lights; but here pretty soon once I fab up some stabilizer brackets.. I plan on attempting to swap my Daylighter bulbs with a 55w HID kit.

This is compliments of Shane's kickass hat on my KC's we installed many many moons ago :-)

Buy the CHEAP KC Dayliters (100w) then go buy WAGNER 4029 bulbs (they are the 150w that KC used) then swap the bulbs - Hey presto.

if you are really interested in HID lights, KC makes a 70 watt HID if i am not mistaken, i would think those would bleach the paint if you tailgated someone with them on... i bet they're pricey though!
