DDM 35w hi/low kit install

Got my kit in the mail the other day and finally got around to the install. It came with the 2 ballasts, 2 bulbs, and a relay harness. What confused me was with the harness. It had the pos/neg wires that i connected to the battery, the bulb connections which worked fine, then it only had 1 connection input for the stock headlight plug. Is there only suppose to be one stock headlight input? I have it all connected and i get no lights on hi or low. I looked on the ddm website under the HID harness option for the kit i bought and there is a dual in dual out option, was i suppose to get that? any help would be great.

your on the right track, it only needs one socket to signal the ballast to turn on... basically, it uses one plug as a switch to cut on the power to the 2 ballasts... Might wanna check your grounds though!

Got it working, thanks. I made sure all the plugs were tight and moved the ground. So, now the only question I have is with the high beams. When I push my turn signal lever forward to put the high beams on they work fine. When I pull it back to flash them they do nothing. Is this normal for the HID kit or should they be coming on?

I wouldn't flash them. You mean when going from High to Low they cut off?

With the Hi/Lo kit you can't flash, you get only Lo or Hi. You have everything wired up correctly.

I meant like how you can push the turn signal forward and it locks on high beam or you can pull the turn signal to manually keep the highs on. Casper pretty much answered my question though.

how do these HIDs work? are they not magnet based to pull the high beam back into the housing for the high beam?

How do you have your wires hooked up on the blue clip? For some reason mine will be high beams until I pull back and put the highbeam light on in the dash and then they'll go to low.
