Removing grill

Ok here is a pic of my grill. At the top I see 4 metal clips do I just pull these out? What are the clips everyone is talking about that are impossible to break?

the clips i broke are on the inside that hold the grill to the grill shell...impossible to not break

you should just be able to take your HOLE grill shell off by unbolting your grill then pulling back on the tabs where your bumper meets the grill shell. Look along the bottom....

heres some pics for reference

here's the tabs

heres the tabs pointed out with the stock grille shell

Here's the tabs everyone breaks

NOTICE: Grille SHELL is off

what it should llook like with grille off

DONE:

#1. First timers should remove their headlights and corner lights...there's a how to here somewhere, or do a search.

#2. 4 clips pop out to remove grille. I like to use a flat screwdriver and push down and out oh the back side of those clips. It's kind of a pain, but once you do it once, it's easy to do it again.

Yes, they do break, or pop off the actual grille housing. Be careful to not break the "stubs" of the grille housing where the clips are mounted onto.

Good luck
