You mean HID? If you have the money, sure. The type of HID the Lincolns use is the same reflector as a regular halogen, nothing special. Only the bulb is different, of course there is more to it than the bulb but as far as the headlight lens/reflector goes they are the same. The good ones are projection HID.

New they would be well over $1000. I don't know what they would go for at the junkyard. Just looking at the aviator here in front of me I would say it could be done. I haven't actually taken one apart but they appear to use the same reflector and light bulb mount as the regular non-HID aviators. You'll just have to find a place to mount the ballast that runs the light. Try not to electrocute yourself either, it's high voltage stuff.

i think.. the swap would be pretty hard, cuz the switches, etc are different (dont' quote me)
i've been actually thinking of doing a whole HID conversion for my truck (probably do it in a year, when i have the money) Here's my plan:
get the projector conversion kit (almost 400 bucks) then move the turn signal that is in the headlight now to the corner light... then hook up a 6000K (maybe) HID kit into the projector. Then the "high beams" would be where the headlight is right now. I think that would be a lot safer for incoming traffic, just cuz projectors won't produce that much of a glare for other people. I had being the *** that blinds people on the freeway.
that's what i'm thinking of getting. I think this mod would be about.. 1000 bucks.. yea.. dont' knwo if it's worth it...
(sorry for the long, unrelated entry), but the aviator headlights, that might not work, cuz first of all, it's just the housing, i don't think lincoln/ford would sell you the HID kid.. they'd probably woudl install it themselves, cuz of DOT requirements
