New member and Ranger owner here and have a question. I've got a line on a couple cheap drop in bedliners and am interested in knowing if they are year specific or if they fit a number of years? Are the beds pretty much standard on my model or is there some tweaking by Ford? One of the liners is from a 92 long box and the other is from a 98.

I have an 02 XL standard cab with 7' bed so any information would be appreciated. BTW, glad I found this forum. I'm getting quite an education on my truck.

Until I can afford the spray/roll on liner this one will have work. Besides, until global warming kicks in I'm in the middle of winter here in MI so climate is not paint friendly. Thanks, Jeepjeff

 

Ok your 92 long bed liner *if* it's under rail it will fit all long beds doesn't matter year if over rail it's cut off is 1992-1987

Ok your 98 long bed liner *if* it's under rail it will fit all long beds doesn't matter year if over rail it's cut off is 1993-2009

 

I ran an over the rail liner from my dads old 86 in my 01 and it fit perfect, but they were both 6' beds

 

Thanks folks! I am a long time Jeep fanatic but needed a truck for my work and really like this little ranger. It's in fantastic shape for a MI truck and the bed is like new so in goes the liner. If you ever need information regarding anything Jeep let me know.
