Hella 500's Behind the Grill - Driving or Fogs?

I love the look of the Hella 500's behind the grill on 2002 Rangers. I've got to take my grill off to paint it, and thought I'd put a pair in while I have the grill off. I plan to use them on and off road, and I would like to know what you guys prefer, the Driving lights or the Fogs, and why? Pros and cons of each that you've run into.

Here's my truck:

and here's the lights:

Thanks!

If I had them I'd use em for driving, I've never seen fog in Arizona so if I had them as fogs theyd never be used.

Let me know how it goes, I'm debating doing this as well. I've heard concerns about the grille melting though...?

the driving lights put out a spot beam at a distance and the fogs put out a wide beam close to the truck. i got a set of driving and a set of fogs on my truck so i can see everything from the bumper to about half a mile out.

I have a set behind my grill and I use them only when its super dark out, back roads etc. wheeling. They are sick man in town they get in peoples mirrors and I feel bad so I use my stock fogs for in town mostly

Here is me being a pick *****. Enjoy

I've heard some people mention that as well, so I did a search. Seems like it'll be OK if I stick with the 55W lights.

I've been thinking that I'll go with the driving lights behind the grill, and then add the fogs somewhere outside in the (hopefully) near future.

Looks great! Did you mount them from the top like I've seen in other threads?

I'm going to do it, I just gotta wait and see how my money is right now.

Plus I'm still needing to get some silverstars, plus 9005's for the fogs to brighten it up more. Hehe, lights GOOD.
