Step bars

Can anyone tell me if stepbars from a 98 2dr will fit on a 04 edge 2dr? Thanks.

shouldnt be a problem, nothing on the sides/frames has changed since at least 98'

a lot of nerf bars connect to the pinch weld though, or at least the body.

if they are both reg cab then yes i think so... i think there are some differences in the extended cab models but im not really sure on that

Even still, the cab's havent changed.. as long as its apples to apples, single cab to single cab...

They are both ext cab 2dr. I would think they would fit but who knows. I guess the best way is to take some measurements.

The main difference is between extended and regular cab, and between the two different flavors of extended cabs: 2 and 4 door. For sure the 2 and 4 door versions mount differently in the rear. It is possible that the bars mount the same in the back for '98 and '04's with 2 door extended cabs.

Thanks John, I'm with you in thinking they'll fit but I'm gonna measure to make sure.
