well guys, i just completed the first mod of my truck -- i installed my billet grille today. overall i'm pretty happy with it. it wasn't too hard and i think the result was definitely worth the work! let me know what you think of it!

thanks for the compliment fellas!

do you think i should just take the holder off and mount the plate right to the truck or take them off all together? (i think it's illegal to not have a front plate in CA)

it is illegal in California. Not worth it, IMO.

San Diego huh? You should come up to one of our LA-area meets

The grill looks good! Once you start modding you can't stop, it's an expensive addiction.

*ack* isn't that the truth?

So are you lifting or lowering this truck? Nice grille btw. Be careful with it.

oh i'm definitely lifting it.. i just need the money. i'm thinkin a 3" spindle lift with AAL's and shackles in the rear. what do you think?

after i get the lift and more money i'll get bigger tires too.. i was thinkin 33's

looking good. I am in the minority but i like the front plate on the 2001-2003 Edges with front two hooks. With the front plate gone there is a big gap between the hooks and IMO it dosent look good =/

as for the lift, if you go with the 3" spindle and aals in the rear 33s will fit perfectly

thanks for the input sean.. i think i will probably just leave the front plate cause (1) i agree with you and (2) it's illegal and not worth it haha.

i think 33's will work nicely too.. i've seen a couple pics from others and i really like the look.

sweet truck BTW.. i really like it

I used clear silicone caulk. I used tape to hold it until it dried. I've had no problems and you can put it anywhere on the billet. It's the same emblem that was on the stock grill.
