Tail lights

I'm finally starting work on my 94 ranger in a couple of weeks, I'm doing a engine engine swap and some cosmetics. What year tail lights will bolt on to my truck without much modification? I like some of the newer model lights but I'm not sure they'll fit on mine. I might as well ask about the headlights too. I don't need them for now but I don't like the ones I have.

from 93 to present the ranger taillights have the same shape except STX which uses Mazda tails...

I think it was 2000 that they switched to a 2 bulb design... However you can mod it pretty simple you can do the add a hole option or you can slap an amber bulb in the blinker and then put it in the reverse light slot then get some aux backup lights...

also you might beable to swap out the 3 bulb harness with a 2 bulb harness. The harness connects around the read bumper.... Not sure i this will work on the older rangers though

I'm looking for some lights that are all red or most of it, I don't like the amber color. That's what I've found so far

Here is a how-to on the ranger station that users a trailer converter kit to make the three bulb on the older rangers able to run a two bulb set up thats on the new rangers. Ford Ranger Tail Light Upgrade
